At the risk of sounding less sincere than I am, let me preface this article by saying that a large number of disreputable people are parading around as online businesses and causing a lot of heartache for consumers and serious Internet business owners alike due dial up streamyx a lack of professionalism and customer service. Rule 1: Understand That Your Job Doesn't End With the Sale
If you aren't ready to commit to your product and / or service and to the customer service that is required to establish long term credibility, please don't bother trying to go online at all. Professional online business people would appreciate it very much and so would the customers who will never trust or recommend you.
Rule 2: Know Your Products
Look, there is nothing more frustrating to a customer (or potential customer) than to have a question about a product that they can't get an answer to. If your web site doesn't already contain a thorough FAQ section (which it should), please be prepared to answer any questions about the products you sell. Anticipate the questions by using the product if you don't already.
